Inquired about clean up procedure for vomiting and diarrheal events and PIC stated that they use the purple substance at the mop sink. When the inspector reviewed the chemical it was identified as an degreaser. Inspector reviewed the sanitizer that is used for the 3 compartment sink and sanitizer buckets and observed it does not kill norovirus. PIC showed inspector another chemical that she thought may be helpful. Inspector observed that it also did not kill norovirus.

COS: Inspector removed each nozzle and requested that the PIC clean them prior to replacing them. PIC cleaned each nozzle so that they were clear of the black substance.
